w3 total cache broken

  • my w3 total cache all of a sudden returned me the “It appears Minify URL rewriting is not working. If using apache, verify that the server configuration allows .htaccess. Or if using nginx verify all configuration files are included in the main configuration fail (and that you have reloaded / restarted nginx).”

    It was working fine previously till (feb 12 2013). I have not made any major modification to the core files.

  • Are you running your site from anything but the root domain?
    If your site is at /blog/ or something like that, you won’t have working minification.

    Thanks for it, but can i know why it stopped all of a sudden?. It was working fine previously?

    so even if i reinstall the older version wont i be getting the minification back?

    You need to uninstall the latest version and install version 0.9.2.5.

    That should make it work.
