• A week ago I installed the W3 Total Cache plugin after a couple online speed tests gave my site a failing grade… I followed the instructions on this Press Customizr page for installation.

Google’s Testmysite game me 100 percent on both mobile and desktop speeds. I was very happy. On my computer the site worked perfectly.

Days passed and I began to get messages that some pages were not opening, users were seeing pages of gibberish code. I couldn’t reproduce the issue, but my wife found some of her computers at work got the gibberish code pages, as did a couple of my friends.

The gibberish code pages look different whether it’s a page or a post that is opened.

I deactivated W3TC and that seemed to solve the issue, though I still was not able to see any problems on my computer. But my site has again slowed down.

I double-checked the settings on W3TC and they are the same as what Press Customizr recommended for the Hueman theme.

Anyone know what might be going on?

Maybe it was not the fault of W3 Total Cache. After disabling W3TC, the website problems cleared up, but sharing to Facebook continues to be gargled.

    Twitter seems to be fine.

If anyone has a hunch why this might be happening or what they would do to find out, would love to hear it.
