Please re-install plugin or remove /home/ovm0pg0mixgz/public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php. ‘ and also at my front end I see abnormal changes like row colors and themes missing. Please help.

    Hello @sanjeevamohan

I am sorry about the issue you are experiencing and I am happy to help!
Please try completely remove and reinstall W3 Total Cache:

    1. Purge Cache
    2. Deactivate and Delete Plugin
    3. Check .htaccess File (make a backup)
W3TC will create many directives in the .htaccess file to control the caching behavior. Each section will start and end with comments like “#BEGIN W3TC Page Cache core” and “#END W3TC Page Cache core”.
Ensure that no residual entries are leftover in your .htaccess file after deleting the plugin.
    4. Delete wp-content files and folders
    – cache folder
    – w3tc-config folder
    – object-cache.php (if exists)
    – advanced-cache.php (if exists)
    – db.php (if exists)
    – upgrade folder
    – delete w3-total-cache folder in wp-content/plugins/ (if exists)
    5. Delete Cached Files from CDN (if using CDN)
Besides deleting all the relevant files, if you use CDN then ensure to purge the cached content from your CDN. This is necessary when you enabled minify option in W3TC settings. You should delete the minified and combined scripts and CSS files from your CDN server to avoid the site breaking on the browser.
    6. Go to your wp dashboard and re-install W3 Total Cache

    Thanks!

    Hello @sanjeevamohan

    Thank you for the clarification.
A 403 Forbidden Error occurs when a web server forbids you from accessing the page you’re trying to open in your browser.
Have you tried reaching out to your hosting provider and check with them what may be causing this?
If W3 Total Cache is completely removed from your website it means that the issue you are having is not related to W3TC, and some issues happened on the server after the update you mentioned.
    Thanks!

When I try to log into the back end of my site, I get the following message:

W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /wp-content/advanced-cache.php.

Since I can’t get into the back end of the site, I can’t do this.

    A little help, please?

    Many thanks,
    Hugh

    – advanced-cache.php (if exists)
    – db.php (if exists)
    – upgrade folder
    – delete w3-total-cache folder in wp-content/plugins/ (if exists)
    3. At this point you should be able to g to your wp dashboard and re-install W3 Total Cache

    Thanks!

    Hello,

I am getting this error on the admin side of my website:W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /home2/joneslucinda/public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php.

There is nothing showing up on the front end. It is just a blank screen. Please tell me how to fix this. I was trying to add a theme and a starter template to build a new site and I ran into this problem.

    Thanks in advance
