• Hey Guys,

I recently started using the W3 Cache Plugin, I decided to uninstall it. However when I did it comes up with this and now I can no longer enter my dashboard or get in via admin.

W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove D:\Hosting\11889847\html\wp-content\object-cache.php.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_cache_init() in D:\Hosting\11889847\html\wp-includes\load.php on line 407

Does any one know how to fix this problem. Would be much appreciated.

  • It seems you didn’t uninstalled it successfully. If you can not login to your dashboard at all and you deleted W3TC, upload it manually on your plugins folder that you can access your admin panel again, then deactivate it and delete your cache and then delete it and see if the problem fixed.

Also, following on from what’s above. I am no computer genius or programmer so I don’t know out to comment out lines or delete files using ftp. thanks

If you can;t install plugins manually, please read Manual Plugin Installation
