W3 Total Cache error on WP 4.5.2

The W3 Total Cache plugin causes a error on WP 4.5.2
“Warning: mysql_num_fields(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/XYXYXYYX/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 3026”
The error goes away when disabeling the W3 Total Cache plug in.
