W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place.

    I just updated my theme – Newsframe (free version). Ever since doing so, I am getting the following message at the top of my dashboard:

    W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /home2/oregons8/public_html/pioneer/test/wp-content/advanced-cache.php.

    While I believe I installed W3 Total Cache at one time, it is no longer active, nor even present among my plugins.

    I don’t know the message is referring to or whether or not I should do something about it. Anyone know? Thanks!
