• I encounter this error on one of my site:

Recently an error occurred while creating the CSS / JS minify cache: File “/home/qnews/public_html/wp-includes/js/l10n.js” doesn’t exist.

I don’t actually have problem with my other site that has the same configuration with this one.

    What are your minify settings?

    Here are my minify settings.
Had to disable JS due to this error. It was previously enabled with two files from affiliated programs (not shown).

I see, in this case manual mode would eb necessary since one of your JS files doesn’t like to be minified. Once you find the culprit you can contact the author to ask them to help you resolve.

I’m getting an error like this for a file from a plugin that has been uninstalled and deleted. No files remain in the database from the plugin, as far as I can see, and the plugin’s folders have been deleted from the site’s plugins folders. So, I don’t understand where W3 Total Cache is getting the idea it needs to minify this file that doesn’t exist.

    The error reads:

Recently an error occurred while creating the CSS / JS minify cache: File “/usr/home/wheel/humortimes/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/twitter-facebook-google-plusone-share/tfg_style.css” doesn’t exist.

It’s been popping up ever since the plugin was deleted. Any idea as to how I can fix this? Thanks.

    The site is https://www.humortimes.com

Right, that’s a false positive that will be addressed in the next release. Sorry, please ignore for now or disable the notifications.

Ok, thanks for the response. But just out of curiosity, can you tell me how it can be referring to files that don’t even exist anymore?

Only if you’re using minify mode and you haven’t removed them. Check under various templates, they may not be visible at a glance.
