I have a website with Async JavaScript, Autoptimze, and W3 Total Cache. When I run the site with Asyn JavaScript and Autoptimize, the slider works just fine. When I activate W3 Total Cache, the slider works for a while for a while on some browser before it just quits loading the images. On other browsers, it breaks after a few page clicks. I haven’t put a finger on what exactly the issue is and thought I would ask you for some suggestions on the settings. Thanks! BR

  • might not be relevant, but make sure all minification optoins in W3TC are off, as else you might have conflicts with Autoptimize (minifiers are a jealous bunch ?? )

    Frank,

Thanks for responding so soon. I turned the plugin back on, turned off the minify, cleared the cache in W3 Total and checked to see what happened. It ended up breaking the site. In fact, I had to remove it completely to make things right again. In fact, I also had to hand delete some files that got left behind which were causing the site to not load correctly. I might try reloading the plugin and piecemeal turning on things. ??

    Thanks!

    Hi @brome2day!

Most probably Slider WD plugin is not triggering this problem, since it is functioning correctly when W3 Total Cache is off.

Usually, we recommend having cache plugins disabled, while you are working on a plugin. This way you will immediately see all the changes you make.

@optimizingmatters, thank you for your kind help, hopefully we can sort this issue together.

    Cheers!
