• First of all, greatest plugin ever seen.

I am manual combining and minifying JS and CSS, using cloudfront with S3 bucket. Now I added all css and js files, but they all have a dynamic version number behind them. Will this be automaticly updated everytime? So when I upload to my S3 bucket new files get deliver instead of old, or do I have to add new versions everytime?

    Versionnumbers like: .css.gzip?ver=2345209

    Thanks for any help.

  • No it would not be, but I’m thinking of changing that in an upcoming release. The easiest method for now is auto mode. BTW, you wouldn’t want to specify .gzip versions of files to be included, instead just the uncompressed local files.

    Thanks Frederick,

I removed all version numbers for .js and .css files, and also removed the gzip. Does this now means, when I change a .css or .js file, and I upload the files to cdn, all changes will be delivered?

    Three more things:

    – Is it possible to implement a ‘upload all button’ for CDN, now I have 5 different buttons: export media libary, wp-includes, theme files, minify files, custom files.

    – I am using both manual uploading, and automatic / scheduled. Because I am not sure if the automatic uploader works (just because there is no report somewhere to see what it has done)

    – When importing external media files (attachments) could it be possible to auto rename all files to the page title, or other relevant keywords. Now I have hundreds of photo’s called something like: 234234238482342.jpg would be great if they could be renamed to the-page-title.jpg

Do you accept donations? Couldn’t find anything about this in the plugin.

It’s probably best to use an origin pull CDN actually. I don’t have a wizard to rename images sorry. There’s no single upload button for all media / files.
