SiteGround didnt. I had to disable it in order to bring website back up after update to WP 4.7

Had the same problem with update to WP4.7. Disabling W3TC was needed so I could log into WP after update.

in the log that error is written?

In order to provide logs, i would have to reenable the plugin which i am unable to as this is a production commerce store. However i will try to clone it to a sandbox and try and give the logs.
From what i realized it had to do with an database caching issue but, my main goal was to get the store back up and running.

    I will report when possible

Ok thanks I’m a guy from community version of w3tc and i’m interessed to fix the issue.

My site crashed after upgrade to 4.7, too. Couldn’t even get in to recover the backup. Had to uninstall wordpress completely, reinstall 4.6 and then backup. Am very nervous to install 4.7!

    Aparently theres a work arround.
    Worked +- for me

    a) Disable the W3 Total Cache before upgrading
    b) go to wp_contented, rename db.php to db.php (old) or something
    c) upgrade to 4.7
    d) enable w3 total cache

Theres still a few unititialized errors on the minify css but it works

Let me know if that worked, trying to find the link for where i got it

Hello, my wp-admin is also down after the update. Site is still online and working. Hope that it becomes clearer in next week what is going on before I need to do the delete all manually project.

    Look at this picture ??
I’ve got this on two websites after updating to WordPress 4.7.2. The backend works, but none of the pages opens – only these weird characters are seen. The fault was “browser cache” in W3TC, after the deactivation everything worked normally.
