• FYI, I tried both W3 Total Cache & WP Super Cache to speed up my heavily laden responsive website. This was the result with which one came out on top for me when measuring the home page and another random page, using Google’s PageSpeed Insights.

To be honest there was not much in it between the two, but it is worth noting that the WP Super Cache readings sometimes were one or two points lower and what I quote above was the highest score. W3 Total Cache always read the same score.

While W3 Total Cache came out slightly faster, WP Super Cache was the easier one to setup so you might want to consider that.

However, both scores are still not fast enough, but they are big improvement as to what it was. I am going to try out Cloudflare next to hopefully gain more speed.

Being a responsive site, and having quite a few plugins, this has made my site slow. But these tools and others can make a big difference.

What about you. Which of the two did you find the best?
