• Greetings.

We’re setting up our WordPress/bbPress/BuddyPress network.

Obviously, one of the big questions is the caching framework/plugin. We thought we’d be able to use W3 Total Cache + APC, but I’ve read in a post from Mark Jaquith that they’re not really compatible.

So, my question is, is it better to use only W3 Total Cache or rather WP Super Cache + APC?

For what is worth, I can tell you that our website setup will be very similar in structure to that of IGN/Gamespot. Of course we’ll be using a CDN, too.

    Thanks in advance!

  • What post are you referring to? That claim was never true as APC was one of the first integration W3TC supported 3y ago.

W3 Total Cache is really “total” , means you can do all caching tasks with a single plugin and manage effectively.
