• Hey all,

    Background information on my bug:

    • My W3 Total Cache (W3TC) settings dictate that non-logged-in users always see a cached version of a post.
    • My site has about 20 new posts a day

Occasionally, non-logged-in users will see a 404 page for a particular post. To resolve the issue, I simply have to activate the ‘flush cache’ feature in the W3TC admin area.

Is there a reason why some posts display a 404 page to non-logged-in users? Anyone else experience this?

W3TC is the best plugin I have used for WordPress.

    Thanks,

    Kevin

OK, I had submitted a ticket a while back, but just submitted another one.

Multiple posts and tickets submitted and no response.

Hopefully I do have submission from most of you and will address as soon as possible.

Any update on this? I thought my work-around of clearing the checkbox from “Cache 404 (not found) pages,” did the trick, but apparently not. I just found one of my most important pages showing 404. Arrgghh! Logged in, purged from cache, page is live again. W3TC seems to be caching 404’s even though I asked it not to!

I think I found a way that this is possible and have fixed it in the next release. Did you submit a bug submission form from the support tab of the plugin already?

Great, I’ll look forward to the new release!

    Yep (see above).

Has the development version been updated with this fix?

No, I will try to do that this week.
