W3 Validation Error: Duplicate ID wp-block-library-css – Help Identifying Cause

    Hello
    I am unsure of whether or not this needs to go to a particular plugin or a theme support forum.

    I have the following block plugins installed
    Getwid
    Stackable
    I am using Blocksy Theme

    When validating the site HTML I get the following error
    Error: Duplicate ID wp-block-library-css
    Error: Duplicate ID wp-block-library-inline-css

    I am also getting the following duplicate id error
    Error: Duplicate ID wc-block-vendors-style-css.
    Error: Duplicate ID wc-block-style-css.

    Can someone please help direct me to the correct place to try to resolve this.

    My level of understanding of code is
    I can cut and paste someone else’s code where I am told to fix stuff, but I mostly don’t know what it means ?? – dev background in other languages.

  • Disable all plugins and activate the Twenty Twenty One WordPress theme (don’t worry, all the settings are saved in the database). Now test. The issue should be gone. Reactivate the theme and plugins one by one, testing each time, until you identify what is causing the issue. Once you know, contact the plugin or theme author in their support forum.

    No problem at all. The process I described is the standard troubleshooting approach for WordPress sites. Good luck with tracking down the issue.
