W3Cache activate failed, now blank dashboard

  • I just updated to 3.2.1, which fixed the left column of my dashboard not appearing that has kept me from updating my site for nearly a month. I thought I was back in business.

    I also updated the w3cache plugin. All looked good there too. Then I went to plugins and pressed the activate hyperlink. After a moment the page when blank. Now I am totally unable to see my dashboard. The page just returns blank. My site is still running, but again I am unable to update content.

    I would really appreciate any guidance on getting my dashboard back.

    Never mind. I went into the database and edited wp_options for active plugins. I had to re-activate my plugins, but that only took moments. Now I wonder, do I dare try the W3 Total Cache plugin activation again.

    Any thoughts on what might be wrong?

    Are there errors in your error log?
