W3TC and RANK MATH alongside ISSUES

    Hi Team with the great plugin!

    Are there any known issues relating the two plugins (W3 Total Cache and Rank Math) in the same installation?

    I ‘m planning to use both plugins, yours for Caching the site and the other one for SEO.
    After my search here in the forum I didn find anyone raise an issue but on google search I found an issue someone had with an error message in his/her Google Webmaster Tools: “Your file appears to be an HTML page” and Rank Math team tells them to, create another user agent group with user agent ‘googlebot’ in W3 Total Cache plugin’s options, as a solution to this problem.

    As I understand both plugins use/create sitemaps.

    Are there any other known issues regarding the operability of these two plugins in the same WP site?

    Is there a guide somewhere to have a look, before proceeding in this form of installation to my site or a general guidance for optimal settings to avoid a conflict with these both plugins in the same installation?

    Hello @xpanos

    Thank you for your inquiry and I am happy to assist you with this.
    As there were no reported issues, there are no specific guides for this use-case.
    In some cases, W3 Total Cache may cache sitemap and you can avoid that if needed.
    The two plugins should have no issues working together, but in any case if you encounter any issues with W3 Total Cache make sure to drop us a note.

    1. Both plugins create sitemaps. Which one should I let to do that? Yours or Rank Math? From your point of you..

    2. Rank Math’s Support in the same Topic question as I started here, the answer me:

    Are you aware of this code? Is it going to break something in W3 Totel Cache?

    3.Are there any optimal settings between Rank Math and W3 Total cache in order to use them both for better SEO ranking and Caching?

    Thanx mr. Marco for the clarification, here and in Rank Math’s support topic.

    1. I mistakenly assumed that W3 Total cache plugin creates Sitemap that it doesn’t.

    2. Correctly Rank Math support told me to add the above code to stop W3 Total cache on caching the above areas.

    3. Is something I will have to find in praxis as I assume there is no such optimal settings for the most out of these two combined.
