    Long question;

    If I wanted to compare with some other WAF solutions speed and protection levels, are there any useful benchmarks anywhere or must I do my own? Because I remember you mentioning that you don’t measure such things oftenly

    When I wanted to use BBQ plugin with another WAF(firewall) would they cut thru each others path. Again, speed is a major concern. I can’t read codes deeply so please you answer this question

    Do you plan a 7G update to the plugin?

    I follow and apply your works where I can and benefit a lot! So big thanks Jeff for all your efforts.

    Glad to help:

    I don’t keep track of benchmarks, etc. But recently (like last week) there was a study done here, where BBQ did quite well, testing performance, detection, and distinguishing ability against other top firewalls. There probably are other tests/services out there, perhaps other studies, results, etc. that you can find.

    BBQ is compatible with any well written plugin, including other firewalls, security plugins, and so forth. It operates independently of other plugins, so should not interfere or cause any conflicts. As you know, BBQ is built for speed, one of the fastest and lightest firewalls currently available.

    3) “Do you plan a 7G update to the plugin?”

    6G/7G/etc. are used to help make BBQ (free and pro). But if you are talking specifically about a 7G WP plugin, no that will never happen. None of my plugins use or require any .htaccess and probably never will.
