    Hi!

    The problem occurs when ?Apply Button? mode is enabled. Namely, after clicking on a category, in the filter, you have to wait a long time until a given checkbox is checked or unchecked.

    Hi @gregosz

    Hard to tell, it can be caused by the site itself, some AJAX requests problems on the site, or a lot of taxonomies in the filter and the server hardware is not enough to work normally. Maybe some other plugins somehow slow down the process. It needs to be tested by turning off other plugins and checking the query monitor information. Not ptimized database.

    Hi!

    I will of course check it all out. But I would like to add something that might help you guess the reason. Namely, if I disable the “?Apply Button? mode” option, the checkboxes are marked instantly. Then it’s not a problem.

    But I would like to have such buttons to filter and reset.

    Hi @gregosz

    It is using AJAX in Apply Button mode to update the filter terms, to the already chosen one. And something is slowing this process down. We tested all those features on cheap hostings and everything was working smoothly with WooCommerce, etc. So it needs testing, why, and what is causing such long responses.
