• waiting for server response time is too long to load a page

    What’s the possible or the main reason to cause this
    i am using litespeed cache for caching but most of the times there is always at least 4 sec initial delay
    the server response time for some pages ar even at 7 sec
    nothing worked even though i have a good score on pagespeed and gtmetrix

    It seems zippy enough to me

    But when I went to another page, I see the delay. IT seems to be building cache:

    <!-- Page optimized by LiteSpeed Cache @2024-08-14 16:19:24 -->

    <!-- Page cached by LiteSpeed Cache 6.3.0.1 on 2024-08-14 16:19:22 -->
    <!-- Guest Mode -->
    <!-- QUIC.cloud UCSS in queue -->

    I might be a good idea to ask the wpengine folks which caching plugin(s) work best with their system.

    it’s weird sometimes the same page is loading fast and sometimes the same page takes too long to load, so what i actually need is to just wait?it’s has been 3 days since i set the litespeed cache

    They do have a section with known issues too that might help a bit: https://wpengine.com/support/cache/#Known_Issues

    No, none of those warnings would slow your site. Have you talked to wpengine as suggested?

    Yes, I spoke with two individuals. The first mentioned that using a caching plugin isn’t recommended because WP Engine already has its own server caching. However, prior to using the LiteSpeed Cache, the website’s performance was worse. The second person admitted they were unsure why the delay was occurring, despite GTmetrix and SpeedPage showing favorable results.they just trying to upsell me a more expansive plan

    Yeah, WPE does not recommend caching. So, it might be a good idea to do some old fashioned troubleshooting.

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

    Thanks for the guidance; it helped me improve the response time. I removed some plugins and reconfigured others. Regarding the QUIC.cloud issue, why am I seeing errors in the UCSS? Do I need to adjust the related CSS? Could this be a problem with the theme?
