Waiting List – pleeaasse!

Unfortunately, waiting lists aren’t a planned feature at the moment and I don’t know of any code samples that provide that feature.

Really? I found posts 3 years ago which put this feature in promising. Is it that complicated to realise it? ??

sorry I think what caimin means that at the moment no eta yet for this feature due to other features and stuff which needs to be done first.

As I said, this feature is not planned at the moment.

There are a number of threads which are all requesting the same feature, but in different ways. So many of us are looking for a waiting list feature, that it is hard to understand why it isn’t at least in the plans somewhere.
Something which would help us, and probably many other people, would be if the requirement for booking approval was set event by event, rather than being a global parameter. Would it be possible to at least make that change?
This would allow us to use Approvals to manage events which we know are likely to fill up, without having to approve every booking for every event we schedule.

If you set the global parameter so that approval is required for bookings, then approve some bookings but leave others pending, then change the parameter back to automatic approval, will those pending continue to be pending, or will they then be automatically approved retrospectively?
