Waiting until scheduled time to retry because of error

Updraft shows the following message after a few seconds into the backup: “Waiting until scheduled time to retry because of error.”
I’ve changed the splitarchives settings to 100 MB and 25 MB, without success. I’ve also tried to backup plugins only and then Themes and Upload only, but none worked.
