WAMP, MAC, And WordPress

  • I followed all the steps to complete installation on my Macbook Pro.

    According to the instructions, this link: https://localhost:8888 should have taken me to wordpress to start registration – but my link has a WordPress Zip file linked to it, which just keeps downloading another copy of WordPress to to computer.

    I’ve tried and watched countless videos. I’m not sure what could be the problem?

    WAMP is successful set-up.

    wp-config.pgp was edited and saved

    Please help me! I’m so frustrated, I want to scream.
