Want help in Permalink links

    Hi all,
    I have a site called sachinist.com and from past 3 years I have used Permalinks as numeric but now as many SEO experts have suggested me to have it as post name,
    I can go to settings permalink and change the option there but problem is all my old links, numeric , shows 404 page not found

    This will make me lose some traffic, is there any way that I can keep old links as it is and change url from posts from now on ?
