want pictures to revert back

  • i have added code to prevent hot linking pictures for specific wordpress sites
    the code i get from the following URL :
    https://www.wpexplorer.com/prevent-image-hotlinking-wordpress/
    but one of wordpress sites his website uses images from links of other websites
    suddenly all the picture links changed to one picture, which is the picture for hotlink !!
    now i have removed the code from “.htaccess” but the picture stillnt appeared, also tried to do regenerate thumbnails, & removing cache nothing helps
    could anyone helps me to fix pictures again
    BTW : picture didnt removed or deleted !

  • Hello Humanbieng,

    Sorry for the problem with the images in your WordPress installation. When you tried to regenerate the thumbnails did you use a plugin? There are a couple of different plugins that may help in this case. Try this plugin and see if that doesn’t help get your images restored. If that still doesn’t work, then please let us know.

    but i forget to say that i already installed & used this plugin to regenerate pictures
    but nothing solves the problem ??

    Sorry,
    after investigating the issue
    i found that the redirect url is specified in another htaccess file by mistake
    then regenerate thumbnails as you adviced & its working now Acrnus
