• Hi there, can you please put the fast access button back in the top left hand corner of the dashboard please. I used it all the time. Now I have to click 3 times to access my on my local server while I am out on the ocean and have no internet access. Kind of sucks but it is so handy. Thanks

Click on the name of your blog on the top left and you’ll get there. Or are you talking about something else?

I have to “second” what serenityphoto requested. The “Visit your Site” button is definitely no longer there and should be put back. Now having read what Ipstenu said, I think I’ve got another problem myself because I don’t see a linked name of my blog anywhere in the upper left of the Dashboard ??

Actually, I’ve just resolved it as you simply now need to just go to Settings and add the name of your Blog and then it appears. The “Visit your Site” link is actually still there, it’s just a single blank space that is now the link. I think in an upgrade they could just as easily replace the single blank link with the “Visit your Site” verbiage as before. In any event . . . all is good again ??

Yep, and there’s a bug report logged for just that, in fact… ??

On the top left portion of your window (right beside the WP logo) is the name on your website. If you click on it, it will take you to your site.

My suggestion would be to make it open in a new tab, or new window for those who like that.. I would like to be able to see my site and stay in the admin area at the same time.

I usually just right click the site name, open in new tab/window

Yea I do too.. but if we’re going to make requests…

Pretty sure the teams have better things to do than do something as menial as that. Use the wheel button on your mouse if you can’t be bothered with the extra click.
