Want to change look of cropping lines

This Plugin is great! I’m using it to manage uploads for printing photographs.

My specs are for 8 inch by 6 inch image files (easy enough). However, I need to account for “bleed…” the extra bit of the photo to be trimmed off, extending the uploaded images to 8.125 inch by 6.125 inches (again, still easy).

What I’d like to do is modify the visible cropping lines to show/overlay three concentric sets rectangles instead of one, as follows:
1. The existing set for cutting (outermost)
2. An inner set showing the estimated “trim” border
3. A further inner set showing the estimated “safe” area

These two inner sets of lines will be proportional to the crop box and are only cosmetic overlays… they don’t get saved when the cropped file gets uploaded. It might be cool if I could set their colors distinct from the cropped lines.

I’m reasonably fluent in PHP, but Java’s not something with which I’ve done much. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I’ll sort the details and re-upload anything I can get working.
