Want to change the Hamburger menu to some other icon

  • Hello,

    I want to change the hamburger menu icon to some other icon that are available. Is it directly possible through the theme customizer because i checked and could not find it anywhere.

    If not through theme customizer then please help me with how i can change it.

    Unfortunately, no direct way to change the hamburger icon for the full-screen header style.

    But you can copy the full-screen-header.php file into your child theme and change the icon according to need.

    By following the path you will get the full-screen-header.php file.
    /themes/oceanwp/partials/header/style

    I want to add a icon from the font awesome library. so is there a way to remove the current hamburger class and add the class of the icon i want? if yes then please can you share the code snippet for the same?

    Thanks for this. can you guide me to where i can find this code? and will this support all the font-awesome font classes?

    i also have 1 more question so can i ask here or i have to create a new thread?

    Hello,

    You will get these codes in the full-screen-header.php file, copy that file into the child theme, edit that and make the changes.
    Yes, it supports all the Font Awesome icons.
