Want to create a WooCommerce shop for business customers. I have som questions.

    I’ve been using WooCommerce for some years now, and I love it! I have made 5-6 web sites using WooCommerce (Some of them were only test sites). This time I want to make something completely different than I usually do. This time I want to make a shop for business customers.

    I don’t want a sumptuous design. I just want a plain list showing all the available products. (Of course, I need the possibility to place the products in categories. The categories can also be shown as a plain list). I found this plugin: https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-product-listing/5222089 But i’m not quite sure if that would work fine for us. I will however check it out. I’m a little bit worried about the ratings. 18, 5 stars and 14, 1 star. It hasn’t been updated since 20. may 2015 (Version 4.2.3 of WordPress)

    I would love to have my shop look exactly like that plugin. A simple catalogue, where the customers can choose what they need from the list.
    I think this plugin is our best choice, if you don’t know about other plugins like this. I will also need a really plain design, or theme. Do you know about some?

    Here comes question number two:
    At the bottom of the list, I want to have a “Send order” button. Not a “add to cart” or “checkout” button.
    When they press the button, they will be sent to a form, where they will have to add shipping details and so on. The customers should not have the possibility to place orders; just sending orders. So I want to remove payments (e.g. Paypal) completely.

    Is this even possible? I’ve been looking for a plugin like this for days now, but I haven’t found anything yet.

    Here is a summary of what I’m looking for:
    1. A really plain theme. Don’t need any fancy things at all. (It doesn’t necessarily need to be “completely plain”)
    2. A plugin that can let me add products in a list. As I wrote above, I have already found a plugin like this, but I’m very unsure. If you know about another plugin like this, please tell!
    3. Change the “add to cart”/”checkout” button to a “send order” button.
    3,5. Remove the payment options (e.g. Paypal).

    I will appreaciate all the help I can get!

    Its has WooCommerce features, its popular, has frequent updates and most important of all – its well supported. You can make it as plain or as fancy as you like. There is an upgrade path if you find you want more features.

    This plugin:

    can alter button labels.

    You may be able to use the core WooCommerce but setup the only payment method to be “Pay by cheque”. You can alter the method title to “Send me an invoice” so the customer doesn’t see the word “cheque”. It appears in the back end as a method title only.

    “Request a quote”:

    allows the user to assemble a “shopping list” of requirements and send it by email to the webmaster. The add-to-quote button can be set to replace the add-to-cart button, thus bypassing the cart and checkout pages. There is a quote summary page. You would need to customise the wording a bit.
    There are other quote-type plugins that will work in a similar way.
