    Hi All,

I’m seeking some advice and give my thanks in advance.

I am creating a community blog where members of the community where I grew up can share their memoirs from the past and the present.

The blog will essentially be an “online diary” donated to the community, for the communities people to use, and share their stories and photo’s.

I want the blog to be as “open” as possible and as “simple” as possible to use so anyone can easily create and share content without having to know how to use the back end of word press… This is critical. I require them to be able to submit content from the front end side of the blog.

The simplicity of allowing those who don’t know websites to be able to post up and share their content is critical to this blogs success…

Ideally I would like to simply have a “Post a Blog” button on the top menu bar (or a similar feature on the home page) that simply opens up a page where they can give their story a title, add in their stories texts, upload their image/images, categorize the story and hit post.

The site should require the contributors to create a site user profile registration with a simple “Im not a robot” captcha check before they can post up their content so as to help eliminate the blog being over run by bot spam etc etc…

Can anyone give advice on what themes are available that would really meet these specific requirements?

    TIA. Phill.

None of the themes available here at www.ads-software.com, because editing/posting from the front end is plugin territory. There are some plugins that will allow this, but I have not looked at them in some time.

You can enable posting by email (again, plugins), and then create a contact form (you can code this by hand or use a plugin) and set it up to mail to the post-by-email address. That might be your best option.

    Hmmm interesting.

    Thanks!
