Dear All – I have added custom Footer menus (Privacy Policy & Disclaimer, Terms of Agreement) through widgets as in the attached imgur screenshots. I have also added menu from ‘appearance’ option. My theme is ‘Customify’. Under ‘widgets’ through, I can’t find a ‘navigation’ widget. My content for the two menus is also ready and drafted. Although I could see the texts – Privacy Policy, Terms of Agreement etc. on the footer, I am struggling to link the content drafted to the footer menus. I don’t know coding so editing my php file may end up causing issues. I also tried plugins but doesn’t seem to work. Is there any way I can add a hypertext link to the 2 menus and link to my pages. My site is not yet live. Do check the screenshots. You may get an idea what i wanted to do. Or do let me know if you’d like my wordpress credentials to have a look at it. Thanks a lot!

  • Hello,

You don’t need to create the menu links manually or edit any PHP files. Just follow the steps below:

    1) Remove the “Custom HTML” block widget, as you don’t need it for this purpose.

    2) Click the Plus (+) sign to add a new widget block, and type “Nav” into the search box that appears. The “Navigation Menu” block should appear as shown in the screenshot below). Click on it to insert it into your footer.

    3) Enter a title for your menu (optional) and click the “Select” field to choose your “Footer Menu” that you created in APPEARANCE => MENUS.

Sir – Thank you very much for your response. This fixed the problem I was having for the last 2 days. You made me far lighter with this solution. Thanks a ton! PS. Wish I could reward you with some available points like how we have in Reddit and other sites. That said, your prompt response and solution are much appreciated. Feel free to close this topic.
