Want to make a wordpress Website for Amazon Affiliate Marketing

    I have decided to make a wordpress website for Amazon affiliate and my niche is “orthopedic dog bed”. But my hesitation is that- what will I do? only publish post about dog bed or I will publish all about dog. Dose my domain name contain “orthopedic dog bed” or only “dog bed”. What is better make a website only for “orthopedic dog bed” other wise make a website for all about dog?

    These questions are really more SEO or Content Marketing questions if you ask me. Not really WordPress related. If you do focus on a niche like “orthopedic dog beds” I would keep all my posts very specific as well. Otherwise you wind up competing with blogs on dog beds.

    But then again, perhaps your niche is very specific and users will search for dog beds most of the time instead. Using “orthopedic dog beds” as longtail keyword and blog post topic might not be the strategy to use.

    What choice you should made for longtail keyword, domain name and or content should figure out using tools like Google Ads Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, Bing, Google itself and other tools.

    Your domain name should be related to the dog topic, however, it does not have to contain the exact keywords. If you are targeting onle “orthopedic dog beds” then it would be smart to chose this domain name.

    Be aware that you’ll eventually run out of topics to write about if your niche is too small.
