Want to remove search bar from Carrington Blog theme.

Howwdy! I’m trying to figure out how to remove the light gray bar between the header and the body in Carrington Blog theme. In otherwords, it currently looks like this: https://www.freedomfeens.com/
but I want it to look like this mockup I made in photoshop:
