• When my web designer created my website, he copied in testimonials from my old site so all the dates were the same, which made them look made up. So I changed the setting to not display the posting date, which I seem to recall I did by unchecking a box somewhere. Now that the site has been running for 6 months I have new testimonials that I’d like to show the date for, but I cannot find how to do this, and my web designer can’t recall how it is done. I’ve looked all over WordPress but it doesn’t seem to be an option to change, though it seems strange that it isn’t, so I must be missing it and hope someone can point me in the right direction. Any help will be much appreciated!

  • This might be a theme option. Which theme are you using?

    so all the dates were the same

    You can change the date of a published post when you edit it.

    Thanks for replying kjodle. I haven’t got a problem with wrong dates, my issue is that they currently don’t show and I can’t find how I change the setting so that the customer review shows the date.

    And I’m using Divi theme.

    It’s probably a theme option. Since that’s a commercial theme, you’ll need to contact the vendor for support.

    Link to site?

    Thanks. I have emailed the contact for the theme and hope for useful into. My site is pc-cs.co.uk

    Actually, it’s in the child theme style sheet. Look for this line:

    abbr.dtreviewed {
        display: none;
    }

    and either delete it or change it to display: inline-block

    which will give you this: https://i.imgur.com/U89todT.png

    That’s a handy plugin! I’m bookmarking it for later.
