Want to show latest download in a category in a widget

So how so I use your shortcodes in a template or widget?

[downloads category=put here the category name]

Yep ^ plonk one of those in a text widget. Should work.

Well… it works for having the downloads in a widget. But I was really wanted to add some code to add the download link in a widget I was writing for a plugin.

If there aren’t any template tags then I guess the above solution will have to do.
