• Hi. I have a domain which points to here, wordpress, but I dont want my domain to have anything more to do with that domain (lets say we “broke up”). I tried reading some tutorials, but my domain keeps saying this error and NOT showing any content except this:

Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.

I dont want to delete this blog name, just in case I may need it in the future, but for now I dont want the wordpress blog to have any connection with its www.

I read some tutorial about going to myphpadmin and changing the home/url value and I did so but the warnings keep showing. Should I erase the WHOLE wordpress database on my hosting? The blog is completly empty, I just did it to have the adress so I dont mind erasing the whole worpress thing, except that I want to keep the name (myname.wordpress.com).

Please? Sorry for my english and im a beginner with hosting and server things so be kind ??

Oh, and I want to do that (not use the www.ads-software.com url) because my hosting, ixwebhosting, has a wordpress tool where i can use more templates and stuff.

if you have your domain name in wordpress.com then you need post wordpress.com forum

    Hi
This is the Forum for WordPress ORG which is for self hosted sites, like your ixwebhosting one. This query should be addressed to the WordPress.COM forum I think

    https://en.forums.wordpress.com/

It seems to be som confusion here.

This is www.ads-software.com. Your domain is not pointing here. wordprees.org is the only domain here.

It may be that you have a self hosted WordPress (ORG) blog in a multi site setup using domain mapping. If you may use phpMyAdmin you are probably self hosting. If the domain pionting to your old blog is yours, then you may have it point elsewhere. There you may set up a new WordPress (ORG) blog.

When you mention myname.wordpress.com then that blog is something completely different, a blog hosted on WordPress (COM). If if you have pointer at your wordpress.com account that points to your old blog as an addiional self hosted blog.

You alsom may have a domain that is pointing to wordpress.com (premium account).

Be specific about what you have (which domain?), and where (which hosting provider?), and what you want to do. Then you will get better help, either here or on the wordpress.com forums.
