Want to upload the image to the blog

Hi,
I want to be able to upload an image to the blog. I used WordPress v.1.3. I’ve tried Exhibit 1.1 Photo. I didn’t see the feature on admin page after I installed that. I followed the instruction and read the thread.
I just want to make sure about the process. I don’t need to change anything in the file. Is that right?
I’m wondering if it is because the hosting server.
