Want to use comment form as a contact form

  • Hi, I’ve just installed WP3 on a new site and want to use the comments form throughout the site purely as a contact form (without publishing the comments). So I’ve altered comments.php to ‘leave a message’ instead of ‘leave a comment’. But after leaving a test comment the page displayed

    ‘No Responses to Contact Us’ followed by

    Your comment is awaiting moderation.

    This would be a bit confusing for my visitors so how can I get rid of all that and just have it show ‘Thank you for contacting us, we will reply asap’ ?

    Any advice appreciated
