• WARNING: UM EXTENSIONS ARE YEARLY SUBSCRIPTIONS. This is for UM extensions that they sell on their official site. I don’t think that UM is trying to pull one over on everyone purposefully, but they do need to add legalize on their site that lets you know that you have to pay that fee (example: $45 extension) every year to keep that extension viable. I would never have paid over $300 for UM extensions last year if I had known I had to pay $300 each year so the extensions would continue to work.

Get this. I can’t even download the extensions I bought last year anymore on my UM account. It says I have to renew each fee to download extensions I already paid for.

So, what did I pay for exactly?

    Not too hard to understand.
Most software today are subscriptions for updates & support.

“…support and updates…” I’m not sure why you bring those two items up from the terms and conditions. I thought I made it clear in my warning above that I am not asking for support or updates. All I want is the ability to download the $300 worth of plugins I purchased last year. I want people to know that if you don’t pay yearly you don’t even have access to something you already paid for.

    Hope that helps!

If you want to have access, then download within the period.
Standard practice with software. (for better or worse.)

Check with Adobe, Microsoft, WooCommerce, etc, etc… (could make a very long list.)

    Hi @maddie22,

Only our free plugin should be discussed on wp.org. We’re not allowed to provide support for our paid elements on this site. Can you please contact us via our website?

    Thanks
