Warning !! An unexpected error occurred.

  • Every time I’m logging in to my dashboard, I’m shown a message on its header saying,

    Warning: An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums. (WordPress could not establish a secure connection to www.ads-software.com. Please contact your server administrator.) in /home/user/public_html/wp/wp-includes/update.php on line 295

    What can be the cause of this error? I have checked line 295 on update file in wp-includes but couldn’t figure out any error there! Please help anyone!! ??

    BTW, for your kind information, I have installed wordpress in its own directory.

    any help please !! ?? Ok I figured out something BTW, on line 291, there the php is querying with https;

    $url = set_url_scheme( $url, ‘https’ );

    Will it resolve if I make it “http” ?
