Warning and Fatal Error after manually updating

  • I got this message.

    How can i get my website up and running again?

    try re-uploading again. Download a fresh copy of the WordPress .zip file to your computer, unzip it, and use that to copy up all files and folders EXCEPT the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory. You may need to delete the old copies of files & folder on your server before uploading the new ones. Read the Manual Update directions first.
    – If you haven’t already done, always backup everything (including your database) before doing any actions, just in case something really goes wrong.

    delete “bbpress” plugin via FTP or SFTP or whatever file management application provided by your hosting provider (cPanel…).

    try switching to the unedited WordPress default theme for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins). When you don’t have access to your admin area, use FTP or SFTP or whatever file management application your host provides. Navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and switch to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder by adding “-old” to the end of the folder name via FTP or SFTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    If I disable this plugin S2 I may be able to get back in and roll back the updates that messed this up!

    Thanks Tara, I was able to get in to the Admin panel and pop up a “Coming Soon” Place holder. The BBPress and S2 Member Plugins are not compatible with the new version of WP! Hopefully they will follow soon. Thanks for your help and Happy Christmas!

    Deleted/Reinstalled BBpress and s2Member but still seeing this:

    Also tried with different theme and still getting errors no matter what!
    Any ideas?

    I did and it threw same error, I also disabled all plugins and then only activated s2 alone and it still gives:
