• I logged onto my account after a few months. It was automatically updated to the wordpress 3.9.2. However when I went to update other items I got the following error.

    Warning: require_once(/home/content/85/8541985/html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/class.jetpack.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/85/8541985/html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/jetpack.php on line 30

    Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/content/85/8541985/html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/class.jetpack.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php’) in /home/content/85/8541985/html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/jetpack.php on line 30

    Admittedly, I’m not very tech savvy, but please can someone direct me in simplest terms possible if there is anything I can do to remedy this. Thanks!!

    Try manually resetting your plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
