    Hello. I wish to report the same issue of the error which has been reported “Warning: Attempt to read property “ID” on int in /wp-content/MyDomain/plugins/facebook-for-woocommerce/facebook-commerce-events-tracker.php on line 202” <– Line 202 is specific to my error. It is a repeated warning based on the amount of subcategories there are to select from on any given category page and only appears there. For instance, if I go to the “Bells” page and there two options, there are two warnings. If I go to “Bikes,” with 8 options, then there are 8 warnings, and so on.

    I only installed Facebook for Woo two nights ago and this issue wasn’t present on my site before then. Indeed, when I deactivate FB for Woo on my staging site, the error disappears.

    For now, as all of my products list well on Facebook and Insta (and look great!) I can’t see any real world issues attached to this PHP warning. To hide this error displaying on my website frontend, I simply went into the Appearance->Customise panel in WordPress, & wrote the following in the Additional CSS box –

    /*Hide Facebook error*/
    .storefront-sorting {display: none}

    That obviously does not fix the core issue, but at least removes the warning text for customers. The fact that it looked unprofessional was a major downside on my product category pages. Hopefully the class of storefront can give you a clue as to the issue.

    As a first step you can try the following, please check if Debug is enabled (TRUE) from your wp-config file? If by any chance you do not have access to that file, you can request assistance from your host.

    If the warning is still present after that step, you can share with us a copy of your site’s System Status that is under WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.?

    Let us know how it goes.

    I should mention that this will also hide the pagination boxes if you use them. I do not need to use them on my site, but beware it will hide your options to select Page 1, 2, 3 and the default sorting dropdown menu i.e. price low to high etc. at the top of your category pages.

    Nothing in wpconfig about debug. The only entry for “TRUE” is a command to force admin. There is no reference to “Debug” anywhere in wpconfig.

    the (Somehow strange) workaround I found was activating the “Debug bar” inside Elementor-Tools. That option places an “elementor debugger” button at the top admin bar, with that active, the text disappears.

    Alternatively, please try disabling your Elementor plugins to see if the error ceases.

    Lastly, similar posts suggest that the issue is isolated to Elementor + PHP 8.0.x sites, so I recommend testing changing the PHP version to 7.4 as well.

    Hello- I have tried your suggestion of the debug bar workaround. That did not work for me.

    Currently I am disabling all plugins on my staging site to try and narrow down further..

    Thanks for your suggestions though, let’s crack this mystery!

    Ok.. So I deactivated all plugins after the issue was still present with Woo, Jetpack, Elementor, Elementor Pro active.

    I then disabled all plugins entirely and turned them all back on again three at a time and the issue did not come back. I’ve removed the CSS which blocks the error text too, just to confirm that.

    Just about to do a site backup and disable/re-enable all plugins on my live site.

    Sounds like a plan! Are you using any caching system (plugin or server-side?), you can try to purge them all too!

    Ok so that did NOT work on the staging site. I disabled/re-enabled ALL plugins. On the live site, the error was back straight away. I rechecked on the staging site, and the error message has come back.

    The only way I can make this error go away is if I:
    -disable ONLY Facebook for WooCommerce
    -OR disable Elementor
    -OR Elementor Pro (or both E+Pro at the same time)

    Not entirely comfortable with rolling back PHP versions, the outdated software could end up leading to other issues.

    The only way I can make this error go away is if I: -disable ONLY Facebook for WooCommerce -OR disable Elementor -OR Elementor Pro

    In seems to be a compatibility issue with Elementor. Elementor is a third-party plugin, which limits us from being able to provide support for it. You may want to reach out to the plugin developer directly at https://elementor.com/support/ since they’d be more familiar with how it works than we would be. You can also open a topic in their forum: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/elementor/

    Hi. Elementor support have been on my site overnight and have only been able to turn off the front end php warning. They’ve confirmed it’s an issue with the coding within the Facebook app and that it should be fixed from your end.

    The PHP Warning on the front end of your website was generated from the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin itself, as one can read. So, they should check and fix this as they have better control over their code.

    Usually, PHP Warnings or Notices don’t affect the working of the code. But those should be fixed to avoid real errors in the future.

    The warnings or notices shouldn’t be printed on the front end. Your server printed it on the front end of your website because the PHP Error Reporting and display errors option was on.

    I followed the below article to turn off error reporting in the front end.
