Did you add your code to the theme’s functions.php or that of a child theme?

The theme you are using is a commercial theme and not supported here, the developer has a dedicated forum for their themes.

NEVER edit the theme’s core files. Once you update the theme all customizations will be lost. ALWAYS create a child theme when adding or deleting code.
