    Hi,

I know I am using a very old version (2.84) and need to update and I am slowly trying to work on that. But it has been working okay for my needs to this point and I did so much direct editing of the code at the time (without knowing what I was doing and very likely with your help back then) that I hate to junk it just yet as to the best of my knowledge all of that editing gets lost with every update.

Any way, it has been working fine until recently, when I started getting the following error codes on my dashboard.

Under “Right Now”: Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /homepages/11/d115789681/htdocs/blog/wp-admin/includes/theme.php on line 19

And under “Quick press”: Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /homepages/11/d115789681/htdocs/blog/wp-admin/includes/post.php on line 345

I am not even sure what these files are and I do not see any any visible disruption in the site’s operation, but I could be missing something for sure.

The only thing I have really done recently is to create and download an XML file for transfer. The database php version that my WordPress is currently on will no longer be supported shortly, so I did create a newer version database, and then installed my same base (edited) WordPress and uploaded the XML file to it. I do not know for sure if any of this specifically caused or contributed to the above errors.

Overall the new database looks pretty good, but both dashboards have the same errors noted above on them and again I am not sure if there is any site disruption as a result that I cannot see.

Based on this limited information, any quick information regarding how I might be able to eliminate these errors and keep this version going for a while longer would be appreciated. Thank you very much in advance for any comments or suggestions. I appreciate it.
