Warning: Creating default object from empty value

I just replaced line 22 of wp-content/plugins/events-manager/classes/em-category-taxonomy.php with the 3 lines you provided earlier and you asked for a report back…

If I did it correctly, it says the exact same error it did on line 22, but it has moved to line 24. Hope this helps.

Hello guys. I’m not sure if this issue has been resolved, but I’m experiencing the same error as well. I’ll like to share what i’ve noticed while trying to solve the error, hopefully the input helps:

• If I set ‘Event Tags’ page to ‘[No Tags Page]’ under the EM Settings > Pages, the error doesn’t appear when I click on the tag that I’ve set for my event post. Comes back on when I’ve assigned ‘Event Tags’ a page.
• I realised later on that my ‘Events’ and ‘Event Category’ menus have disappeared from Appearance > Menus. I’m not sure if it was due to this error.

I’m on WP 3.61 and EM 5.5.1 btw.

It’s not resolved, as the problem on FamilyofFestivals wasn’t even outputting this error, it was theme-related. I have yet to be able to reproduce this, although clearly there is a bug somewhere as enough people get it.

However, I may have managed to solve this anyway. It’ll be in the next update, but my offer further up still stands if you have a website with this exact problem I’ll go in and try to fix it for you, it’d be nice to see a site with this problem in action and confirm the fix works myself.

can you try latest EM version 5.5.2 ?

I already use EM 5.5.2/EMWPML 0.3 and WPML 2.9.2/WPML ST 1.8.2 on TwentyThirteen.
