• Once I installed plugin on my site https://sibeeshpassion.com/ I am getting this warning “Warning! D:\home\site\wwwroot/wp-content is writeable!”. What permission should I set and how? I tried with changing ftp and filezilla, when I try changing with filezilla I am getting error as “Response: 500 ‘SITE’: command not understood”. And also how can I check whether this plugin is working or not? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  • In general, folders should be 755 and files should be 644.

Please see this on permissions, and especially the part about “Permission Scheme for WordPress”: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Changing_File_Permissions

If you have further issues changing file permissions, you will want to contact your web host. They usually have a help section on their site with instructions specific to their setup. If they don’t, or that doesn’t help, they request support from them to fix the issue.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. When I am giving permission via filezilla, it is throwing an error “Response: 500 ‘SITE’: command not understood”. Any fix for this? Thanks in advance.
