• Hi,

    Thanks for the great plugin.

I’ve got a couple of odd errors happening.

    1. I have the warning “Please update the database of the User Access Manager. Click here to proceed” at the top of my WP back end, and despite updating the database on several occasions, the warning does not disappear.

    2. Additionally, one of my users seems to have disappeared. They are still listed in my WP users, but they no longer show up in UAM.

There seems to be a lot of errors in my error log regarding users. I could PM you with the log file if that would help.

This is not a multi site (I noticed that you’ve asked that question in other threads)

    Thanks in advance!

could you provide me FTP/SFTP access to your page that I’m able to debug it?

    Regards,

Thanks. I sent you a message via Slack. It’s my first time using Slack so hopefully I sent it to the right person ??

    Hi Alex,
the same warning is still present after updating the database.
Did you get the solution for Heather_G? May I know it, please?
    Thanks!

    Hi @controface,

I haven’t heard anything further from the Alex since attempting to contact him via Slack over a week ago.

I’ll send him a reminder via Slack and hopefully he’ll have a chance to troubleshoot.

    Hey @heatherland,

I was able to solve the issue for you. It seems that the update failed but I forgot to change the message on a failure. I added that. Also the repair function doesn’t set the right version, which is nearly equal to an update, so I also changed that.

@controface The repair function then should also solve your issue. I think I will release the next version soon.

Thanks so much for your hard work Alex! I still have the 2nd problem that I mentioned at the top of this thread, regarding the user that went missing. Should I re-create this user within UAM?

@heatherland Sorry I missed that one. Are you still getting error messages at your log? If yes could you provide the log to me?

I’ve sent you the log file, but the errors are older so I’m not sure if they will be helpful.

Thanks for your help so far!

    Hi @gm_alex
The update that was supposed to solve the problem did not; that warning still remains present.
Are you going to remove it or is it better to remove the plugin?

    HI @gm_alex
it seems the UAM plugin is showing the error to:

Please update the database of the User Access Manager. Click here to proceed

Once I hit proceed it tells me I don’t have access. Please advise.
