Hey Mary,
I can certainly appreciate your frustration regarding not having notification. I’m not making any excuses but actually what happened in this situation is that we did not stop any feeds at all or change anything with our plugin.
Instead this unfortunate incident was result of a change by Facebook due to a Facebook platform change, where there was an issue with our Custom Facebook Feed plugin connecting to their API. Facebook made an unannounced change that rendered all versions of our Custom Facebook Feed plugin inoperable without any notice to us that this was going to happen as well. Unfortunately both the developer and customers were caught in this unpleasant situation.
As it relates to what sites are linked (activated) under a license, this is something that you can check at any time by just logging into your Smash Balloon user account. Then click on the “View Licenses” link followed by clicking on the “Manage Sites” link. This will display a list of all site URL(s) that are currently registered under that license. This information would be current and is coming directly from our database.
Again we apologize for the disruption, frustration and inconvenience but in this instance it was something that caught us unaware of as well.
