warning error when updating to wp 4.3.1

    Hi
    Getting the following error when I try to update to WP 4.3.1

    Downloading update from https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/release/wordpress-4.3.1-no-content.zip…

    Warning: copy(/home/belovedwomenorg/public_html/wp-admin/includes/update-core.php) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/belovedwomenorg/public_html/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-filesystem-direct.php on line 231

    The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.: wp-admin/includes/update-core.php

    Installation Failed

    Does anyone know what it means and how can I fix it please?

    I was trying to troubleshoot by changing few files permissions from 777 to 755 which I thought we must do that and not keep any directory with 777…I ended up with different error now.
