and wp 3.7.1 and ng 2.0.40

In all this time haven’t you open a ticket with your provider?
This is a restriction given by your host, and you need to ask to remove it.

well when i have the path D:\www\pes\suisekisk\www/wp-content/plugins/ it thought that NG is doing linux paths and the page i administer is on windows therefore there should be some mixup in the plugin.

what restriction are you talking about i did just read some PHP:SAFE MODE stuff but i dont see relevant info there.

@e3k – The current version of NextGEN Gallery does not fully support an i18n implementation, yet (it is being worked on) and it appears the issue is with the path to a .mo file with is used for translations. I would suggest reviewing you site for an item that points to translations in this case.
